Training: The government of India today funds placement oriented vocational training for the disadvantaged like below poverty line students. Addressing the employment issues of under privileged students is high on the government agenda to help them get gainful employment with the twin objectives of raising the living standards of the poverty stricken and in turn bring those at the bottom of the pyramid to join the main stream. This has very apparent socio economic benefits for the families as well as the state.
These funds at the district, state and central Government departments are very specific in nature – they target below poverty line students in rural and urban areas especially women, the disabled and communities like tribals, minorities and other backward groups. From the Government’s view point, this is an endeavor to elevate them above the poverty line by empowering them through various skill development programs resulting into employability for them.
Sehpathi helps to identify the projects, build capacity, mobilize, train and place students in rural and urban areas across various states like Delhi/NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Jharkhand, Rajasthan to name a few.
